DESIGN, RESTORATION AND REBUILD STUDIO IN BRISTOL, UK
TINCTURE STUDIOS
Tincture Studios was created by Adrian Girodo - a musician and graphic artist based in Bristol, England.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Adrian moved to Sydney, Australia at 19, where he studied graphic design at Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE, and then Literature and History at Macquarie University.
In 2005 he began an association with The Australian Film, TV and Radio School (AFTRS) studying Art Direction and Conceptual Illustration, as well as working as a graphic designer, prop builder and art department assistant on a number of productions.
In 2009 Adrian relocated to Italy before moving to England to record and tour in bands. He then lived in the north of France restoring antiques for a British dealer.
Now settled in Bristol, Adrian currently freelances as a graphic designer, specializing in poster and album art, and creating digital/online content. He also restores and upcycles vintage and antique guitars and stringed instruments, signage, props and furniture.
Along with performing on various recording sessions, Adrian was the guitarist in garage-jazz-rock band Shug Avery (The ‘Shugs), guitarist and drummer for southern-rock/jam band The Trash Can Dogs, and former drummer for SVAR.
He is currently the bass player for alt-rock band Belles of Moscow.
